KrislovLaw has filed
suit on behalf of the City of Parma, Ohio, against nationwide
cellular phone company Cingular, who, following its
merger with AT&T Wireless, has been threatening
municipalities and other cell site landlords with termination
if they do not agree to drop Cingular's lease rates
by 50%.
We believe this is an illegitimate
effort to obtain $600-900 million in cost savings from
the merger by shortchanging cities and towns nationwide
from Cingular's lease obligations to them. If you are
a cell site owner, private or public, we welcome your
inquiry.
