Eve-Lynn graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with distinction where she received a degree in Political Science and earned Phi Beta Kappa honors.  Eve-Lynn received her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago-School of Law in 2009, graduating cum laude, with a Certificate in Trial Advocacy.  During law school, Eve-Lynn was an Associate Editor of Loyola’s International Law Review and externed as a “711" at both the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and for Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin.  Eve-Lynn also clerked for both civil and criminal judges (The Honorable Judge Yvonne Lewis and Plummer Lott) in the Supreme Court of New York.

As an attorney at Krislov Law Eve-Lynn focuses in areas of consumer fraud, debt collection abuses, securities fraud and public interest litigation.  She recently co-authored a petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court, which was granted and resulted in a favorable ruling which vacated and remanded an adverse Seventh Circuit decision in the matter of Thorogood v. Sears, Roebuck & Co., 131 S.Ct. 3060 (June 27, 2011), and prepared an amicus brief in support of Petitioners in Smith v. Bayer, 131 S.Ct. 2368 (2011), a Thorogood-related action, which also resulted in a Supreme Court victory for class-action Plaintiffs.

Eve-Lynn has also been involved in the Firm’s prosecution of the case, In re DVI Inc. Sec. Litig., providing valuable support in the Firm’s recent Third Circuit victory.  In re DVI, Inc. Securities Litigation, 639 F.3d 623 (3d Cir. 2011). She also was involved in the Firm’s success in obtaining a favorable Illinois Appellate Court decision in LVNV Funding, LLC v. Trice, 2011 WL 2623304 (1 Dist. 2011), which held that judgments obtained by unlicensed debt collectors are void, and Plaintiff-taxpayers’ victory in defending against the City of Chicago’s motion to dismiss taxpayers’ allegations that the City’s agreement to sell the parking meters to a private company is unconstitutional.  IVI-IPO et al. v.
